As a locally owned and operated building company, Spring Homes has built a strong reputation for our personal service, custom home builds and residential developments across the northern and eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Established in 2010 by Michael McGrath and Matthew Carmichael, we’re fully licenced and insured and members of the HIA. The team from Spring Homes are dedicated to delivering best practice in all areas of construction and building services.

We chose Spring Homes through friend’s referral, and we could not be happier. Right from the start of the process we were comfortable, Michael and Matt make things so easy. The trades used were all first class and friendly, the ability to go on site and check the progress was important to us. As the job pulled together, timeframes were kept and achieved, and our house turned into our home. The amount of people that comment whilst walking past, even had a few people knock on the door and ask about colour schemes makes us proud.

Spring Homes motto is customer comes first

As a finance broker, I dealt with Matt and Mick some 8 years when they built 4 units for clients of mine. Back then, I found them to be very honest and helpful with my clients. My clients also said to me how well the process went and the price was priced well. So, in October 2018, when it came for me to build 4 units in Thomastown for my dad, I went out and got three quotes. Two were from my clients and the other was from Spring Homes. Spring Homes smashed the other two quotes. The guidance I received before the job started was second to none. They helped me through that process; no phone call was ever a problem. During the construction, we had no issues at all. There were no delays in the whole project what so ever. Everything ran smoothly with no hiccups at all.

I think Spring Homes motto is customer comes first, and in my game it’s hard to find these types of builders. They gave me time frames, which were always met, and when we started the internal stuff they were very helpful. During the build, I had a lot of questions during the process; they would always answer my call. During and after the build I had some little things that I wanted them to complete/add for me and they did with no hesitation and extra cost.

I would not hesitate Spring Homes to do any type of build as I have been involved in my 4 unit build and I have been in involved in financing another 4 unit build for 3 families.

Every aspect of our journey with Spring Homes has been a pleasure.

Mick was our primary contact and we found him to be trustworthy, honest, genuine and responsive. He always took my calls, followed up on my requests promptly, continuously went above and beyond to deliver outcomes. As a client, I was treated with the upmost respect, I never felt like I was asking something ridiculous. There were no surprises with Mick, he was able to talk me through each issue that was encountered on the way and came prepared with a solution or two, he is a solutions person, which made the build effortless. He delivered our project, on time; on budget- so easy to deal with we are already planning an extension with them! They all deserve credit for producing a beautiful house of quality… which we get to live in!! From contract to keys and everything in between it has been an absolute pleasure, I am proud that my home is a Spring Home.
